Well,a couple of solitary nights huddled over cold clay under surprisingly ineffective energysaver 60 watt bulbs have engendered these...
Two starstones of Mnar,a late babylonian pottery seal featuring an eldar thing;a dagon cultist's carved glyph, two Pa^uat clay figures from egypt(one cthuloid, one nyarlothotepian),one small button sigil and a partridge in a pear...no..A small leng style sacrificial bowl. All for £7 plus a little acrylic,a little woodstain and potted plant soil.
Although not as good at holding detail as the polymer clays, air drying clay of this sort does lend itself to the fake pottery/stone prop.I promise I will post mid-build images next time...sorry got a bit involved.my favourite of these sculpts is the unpainted(for potential future casting )starstone, the curves feel quite natural;the shape a little alien, and the sacrificial bowl.
